German convention Gamescom is just days away, but there’s still strong speculation about what will be on display at the show. Black Myth: Wukong, a previously announced “next-gen” action RPG from Chinese developer Game Science, is one such title setting tongues wagging; according to Insider Gaming sources, it’ll have a “heavy presence” at the Cologne event.
The snoops claim there’ll be “dozens of machines” allowing attendees to get hands-on time with the title, and there’ll also be a new trailer during Geoff Keighley’s curtain raising salvo, Opening Night Live. Obviously, this title’s been a long time coming – it was first announced all the way back in 2020 – but if this report’s accurate then we could be about to get a more fulfilling look at the game.
Specifically, up until now, no platforms have been attached to the project. We’d like to assume it will launch on the PS5, but hopefully we’ll get concrete confirmation at the aforementioned show, which is set to get underway next week, from 23rd August.

It's about time.
Hopefully, release window is holidays 2024.
What with Sony’s first party being real quiet of late, this is the game I’m excited about. Can’t wait!
